The resilience of the dandelion: A story of hope, change and potential

A visual story of hope and change. In April 2020, as the first lockdown started, Vivienne brought a single dandelion into her studio.

Despite the challenges  -  this plant that is known as a common perennial weed - showed remarkable resilience, symbolizing freedom, happiness, health, perseverance, and resistance.

It is fascinating that the dandelion is more than just a weed – also used for medicinal purposes and as a food source in salads, soups, teas and wines.

Each parachute – like structure the pappus has all the potential to create its own change – blowing its fluffy seeds creates new life with unlimited possibilities.
